Jan 15th was 55 MPH winds, snowing and 22 degrees out on the farm in Seward. It was just Moose and I. We took the advice of Pheasantologist, Dr. Marty Stadelmaier and zig zagged through the thickest of cover to keep the birds off guard. I think Marty read it in a pheasants forever magazine article. Anyway it worked, we walked the draws and trenches, getting up tons of birds bunched together. We also got up multiple covey’s of quail. Moose and I were dressed right for the weather and had a great weekend!
